Zuoz in summer
The most beautiful village in the Engadin
Summer in Zuoz is marvellous. The picturesque patrician village of Zuoz is considered by many to be the most beautiful village in the Engadin.
During a walk, you can explore the numerous old Engadin houses, the village square with its fountain and the many small alleyways.
Furthermore, the village is particularly noteworthy as a holiday destination for families. It has had the “Family Destination” seal of approval since 2016. There are also numerous small galleries, art in public spaces, etc. for art lovers.
Enjoying the outdoors
Hiking
The fresh mountain air and pleasant summer temperatures invite you to enjoy the day on a leisurely hike. Whether in the valley or up on the mountains: In the Engadin, spectacular views, clear mountain lakes and lots of nature are guaranteed.
The interactive hiking map of Engadin St. Moritz helps you to find the most beautiful hiking tours to suit your needs.
Unspoilt nature
Swiss National Park
In the nearby Swiss National Park you can enjoy the unspoilt flora and fauna at 2000 to 3000 metres above sea level in summer. July and August are particularly suitable for this, because this is when most plants are in bloom and animals can best be observed.
There are 21 hiking trails within the park. It is also possible to take part in a guided hike. Entry to the park is free of charge.
- SERVICES INCLUDED -

Bicycle, mountain bike, e-bike
Biking
The Engadin is a true Eldorado for bikers, and there are several reasons for this:
Firstly, there are the numerous cycle paths. Many paths are clearly signposted as bike or mountain bike routes. Secondly, it is also permitted to cycle on hiking trails, which in the Engadin amounts to 400 kilometres. Whether you prefer a leisurely ride along the Inn cycle path or an ambitious mountain bike ride up the mountains, everyone will find the right route here.
But the local cycling infrastructure has even more to offer: Numerous bike hire shops, e-bike charging points and even bike washing facilities are available in the Engadin. There are also numerous pump tracks, as well as some flow trails on the Corviglia mountain near St. Moritz for particularly obstacle-free riding.
Europe's highest golf courses
Golf
Golf is also represented in the Engadin. The Engadine Golf Club even has 2 branches, one in Zuoz-Madulain (just 300 metres from the Hotel Allegra) and another in Samedan. Golf fans can play their way through the golf courses, both with 18 holes, against the most beautiful Alpine backdrop.
Guests are welcome. Golf courses are offered for children and beginners. In bad weather, you can practise your technique indoors at the Engadin Golf Centre. In short, two golf courses that you will certainly remember for a long time.
Aiming high - indoors and outdoors
Climbing
By the way, you can also explore the vertical here in the Engadin. The Parc Alpin high ropes course is available in our neighbouring village of S-chanf in summer.
The Serlas Parc, on the other hand, is open to visitors all year round. The large building offers an indoor climbing hall of 450 m2, where you can climb up to 15 metres high, as well as a separate bouldering area of 120 m2. Other sporting activities are also on offer, so there’s no chance of boredom even with rainy weather. After sport, you can stop off at the in-house pizzeria.

Exploring mystical bathing worlds
Our hotel guests enjoy discounted admission to the Mineralbad & Spa Samedan.
The unique thing about this spa is that it consists of a large number of smaller bathing and steam rooms that extend over 5 floors, with an open-air pool at the very top. All rooms are decorated with colourful tiles. The sulphurous mineral water revitalises body and soul.
A one-of-a-kind bathing experience, only 15 minutes by car from the Hotel Allegra.
